We love Harry Potter....

We do!
My two oldest girls are huge fans.
Savannah has read the entire series twice. She read book 5-i think that's the longest one, in less than 2 days.
Madison never really enjoyed reading. She got interested in the HP books, thanks to big sis , & has never turned back.
I must admit , even little Caroline is dying to read the books. At the tender age of 6, I worried that so many of the words would be a bit over her head so I have encouraged her to wait....just a little while.
True confessions though....she has all the movies practically memorized! Its so cute.
Knew we maybe had gone a bit far the other day when she replied
"Oh bloody hell"
--oops--to a situation!
Savannah saw movie #5 at the IMAX theatre & was thoroughly impressed. Being a huge fan & having read through the series, not once but twice , I had wondered if she was going to be disappointed as most "hard core fans of the book" often are when the movies come out...but NO she loved it! We love all the Harry movies.
They are playing to go the the Ball at midnight Friday to get the final book.
I , however, am dreadfully behind. I had hoped to have been at least caught up through book 5--maybe I should have read them at the beach. Oh well--I will catch up. I love being able to connect with my girls through something they love. I often wonder, when I visit the beach.....do those fortunate enough to view this sunset every day really know how fortunate they are? I mean I know blessings to one may just be taken for granted by another. I know that simply living anywhere in the USA makes us fortunate. But I must say I have seen nothing as beautiful as this......

Savannah , 14, has such a sweet friendship with little one, 6. Actually they all do. I think having their biological father pass away, they just value Caroline as an extra gift from the Lord. I love watching them interact, love on, & encourage her.

We kinda got into jumping at the beach this year..... so cute!

Absolutely beautiful pictures. I personally love all of the jumping! I am reading book #6 which I had hoped to be finished with before book #7 came out. I'm pretty sure that's not going to happen.
