Good Friday , Good Friends

THANK YOU!
so many of you have reached out to check on brinkley.
what a loyal loving group of friends you are
i am so very thankful.

he is seemingly improving in small steps.
the vet was very encouraged yesterday that he actually had an interest in food ( rice)
and could keep it down.
thus decreasing the odds of an obstruction significantly.
 he's far from 100% & needs to be let out to do his other issues
(which are hopefully improving)
quite often.
my sweet awesome sis-in-law sat with him last night
so i could attend Good Friday with my family.

12,000 folks poured into the Verizon Amphitheatre
to worship the lord & contemplate the cross.
i am so thankful, so very thankful i could be there with all my girls
& celebrate that we have a savior
that came to us,
his death paying the penalty for our sins
& making a way for us to be right with god.
he rose on the third day to show his victory over death.
death will never have the last word.

the sold out event was about an hour away from us
so we made quite the early rode trip to stand in line & hope to get a seat
(not on the lawn!)

we ran into some of our favorite people...

always a treat to see my lifelong treasured best of friends, kristin

 & sweet bailey flew in from Ole Miss!

a powerful beautiful night of worship
that helped prepare our hearts for easter
& the Resurrection!

may your family be blessed this easter.
& again, thank you for loving on me!

ps--i also wanted to share what my savannah is doing for Relay for Life.
you can view here!

~~~
But now in Christ Jesus you who once were far away have been brought near by the blood of Christ.
ephesians 2.13
~~
you took our sin
you bore our shame
you rose to life
you defeated the grave
a love like this, the world has never known!
on the altar of our praise
let there be no higher name,
Jesus Son of God
Dear Paige,
Been thinking about beautiful Brinkley and praying for his healing. I'm so glad you have good news but I hope to hear that he is completely healthy again! How fortunate that you get to attend such a wonderful event. Wish you and your family a beautiful and blessed Easter.
Hi Paige, so happy to hear that Brinkley seems to be improving. He has won my heart for sure. =0) Also, I am looking for some cowboy boots for a function coming up in a few weeks and was wondering if you could tell me what brand you and your daughter have?
