Noonday giveaway & The Pearl Event!

 it's hard to believe it's finally here!!
we're packing up & heading to Nashville
for the event that has been prayed about for months & months!!

i can hardly wait to be there & meet these women
hug my precious dear friend sibi
& see some encouraging new sweet faces!

for all of you that have sent encouraging emails & facebook messages
thank you thank you!
to know you're behind us & praying for us is so encouraging
& such an honor.
i'm humbled by the outpouring of love by so many of you!

~~~
in other exciting news
i have a $50 gift certificate for one of you
from the Noonday Collection!!
one of my current favorites
is the zoe necklace
created by our exclusive artisan group in uganda.
here's little zoe
who the necklace is name after.
she is now malaria free
after receiving medical care
thanks to noonday purchases!!
zoe's mama & daddy are jalia and daniel.
after jessica ( our founder) spent the day with them, this is what she journaled :
Jalia & Daniel.
They believe in miracles.
They believe in healing & deliverance.
They are God fearing.
They love the name of Jesus more than their own name.
Their lives are dedicated to serving others.
They understand others because they’ve been there.
They’ve been so poor they had to sell their only bible to buy food.
They know what it’s like to be content: to be in want & to have plenty
They, like Paul, are content.
They set their minds on things above.
one night when we were visiting with Jalia,
she asked us if we would pray that her children aren't orphaned.
can you imagine?
jalia & daniel are receiving a sustainable income
thankfully due to purchases made through noonday.
& their children are NOT orphaned!!!
so....
leave a comment & tell me which piece of jewelry
you would love to purchase if you were to win
maybe tell me which story touches your heart.
~~~~

"I will see You as You are
Love You with unsinning heart
And see how much You paid to bring me home
Not till then, Lord, shall I know
Not till then, how much I owe
Everything I am before Your throne"

Sweet Paige,
I am praying for you this weekend! You are going to touch the hearts of many like you have mine! I like so many things in the noonday collection, but a few of my favorites are the zoe necklace, the capris bangle and the acai bead necklace. The acai necklace is made in Ecuador and I am a Spanish teacher so it is nice to know we are helping others in Spanish speaking countries! XOXOXO

I would choose the La Paloma necklace. Or maybe the Zoe - great color! And great stories. Have fun at the Pearl event. I look forward to hearing all about it!

Have a great event! I love the Zoe-in both colors-what a beautiful family Zoe has; love the pictures!

The joy in little Zoe's eyes just shines through doesn't it Paige? I think her families story is very touching. The jewelery is all so gorgeous that it's hard to choose but I'm very drawn to the Light Layers Necklace.

Good luck at The Pearl Event. I hope you are filled with peace and calm. I know that all that get to hear you speak and meet you in person are blessed.

It's here...it's here! Big prayers for you and the rest of the Pearl Event team this weekend! I know God is going to use your story to impact women. Even though I don't have any pieces yet, the Noonday collection is quickly becoming one of my favorites....right now I'm saving my pennies for the inca steps necklace.

You will be in my thoughts and prayers this weekend Paige. I wish I could be there for this amazing event!! Love all the Noonday stuff, but am drawn to the paper beaded necklaces and bracelets. The story you shared today gave me the chills, can you imagine being worried your children would be orphaned. We are so spoiled here in America. Still looking for a night to do a party--between spring break and graduations, etc. the calendar is filling up quickly, but I will get back with you. This is something I really want to happen!!
Have a great weekend, you will bless so many, I know.

Paige, Have a great time in Nashville!!! You will touch many, many hearts as you do on this blog.

The Noonday Collection is amazing. The story behind the creation of it is so inspiring. I love the turquoise beaded statement bracelet and it would be such an honor to wear it. Just thinking of the story behind it has such meaning.

I think I would pick the acai rope necklace. I recently purchased the engraved cuff and wear it everyday- not just because it's beautiful and goes with everything, but it just makes me happy when I look at it.

Jessica said...

How exciting for you! I can't wait to hear all about it!

Very hard to choose, as all of the jewelry is so pretty. I love the Cleopatra earings.

All of the stories are so so sweet. I am taken by how cute Jack is and the big smile on his face in that family photo. What a sweet sweet gift for everyone involved there!

I do love the guapa wrap bracelet. And that I can pair it with the face of an artisan who may have crafted it with her very own hands is all that more special.

Prayers for you at The Pearl Event!

Hi Paige,
I'm so ready for this weekend . I'm preparing my mind and heart to hear the words and blessings from all of you who are speaking today.

There is quite a few things I like at noonday. The light layers necklace, riverbed bracelets, patchwork journals and flock together birds to name a few. Since I have a heart for Ethiopia, I'm partial to their stories but all are inspiring.
I'll see you this evening.

I love that you are now associated with Noonday--I had never heard of it before. What a gret company. I would love the Zoe necklace in any color--b/c everytime I wore it I would see the face of that beautiful little girl. I have a daughter around her age--such blessings we have here in the US that we take for granted!!

I've never commented before, but faithfully read your blog. I wanted to let you know that I am praying for you this weekend, and for all of those who will hear God speak through you.

If I won the giveaway, I would probably order the "light layers necklace." I've been looking for something in that color, and love that the makers, Nancy and Carlos, want to use their earnings for their children's education. I have been blessed with a wonderful education, and think everyone should have the opportunity to learn!

Thanks for this wonderful giveaway!
I love so many of the bracelets, but my favorite is the Ripples of Silver Bangles and the colorful paper beaded ones. I love that this company raises women up. That is one of the reasons I love to shop on Etsy-I know that a lot of the vendors are Moms trying to keep their home going strong.

I love the orange of the Zoe necklace! Way too hard to pick one inspiring story as they all grip my heart. I love my other Noonday pieces and love telling the stories behind them.

Paige,

I will say some prayers that the Pearl event goes perfectly. I just know it will. I so wish I could be there but Dave is in France for work (poor guy!) and there is no way I could have made it.

I was swept away by the inspiring stories on the Noonday site but honestly, the adoption story of the founder of the company and the story of her son drowning really blew me away as well as the artisan stories! I could SO relate to her telling of the authentication process and the help of strangers.

All of the necklaces are beautiful!!! I love the lightly layered and cascading falls and this one you have featured here..Zoe?

Give Sibi a big ole hug for me:)

I loved meeting you today at the event. Your testimony is amazing and I was blessed by hearing it. I loved the jewelry too and I loved the La Paloma necklace!

Hi Paige!
I hope your time in Nashville was wonderful, I know many women will go away renewed and refreshed.

I love the belts and the tagua seed bracelets (really, I love all of it!).

The story that touches me the most is the lady from Ethiopia with HIV. Our compassion child lives in Ethiopia and often asks us to pray for her mother who is HIV+, so this sweet woman named Asnakech makes me think of her.

Thanks for the chance to win, and for selling such wonderful products.

Hi Paige,

You were such an inspiration at The Pearl Event. Thank you for trusting God and sharing your story with us. I'm a big fan of "The Help" as well - Kathryn Stockett's backstory to writing that book is almost as amazing as the story itself.

xoxo michele

You are going to rock the house this weekend and HOW I wish I could hug you and listen. I'd be taking copious notes girly! :)

Love love love the whole purpose behind Noonday. I love that when we partner with those in need and share from our blessings, we are all able to participate in the very thing God designed- helping each other. Precious. I love that you're a part of this and sharing these stories with us.

I love all of the coral and turquoise bead pieces. I can never choose a favorite, I'm more color driven right now and those are my fave colors.

Keep on doing what you're doing Paige. Big things in store and bigger blessings! I know it.

All of the stories are amazing but I love the stories from Ethiopia & India...Sana was so brave to send an e-mail knowing her father wasn't being treated fairly from former buyers...what a great way to help provide for her family...that was a life changing e-mail for sure.

There are so many items I like...the Happy Day necklace & the Zoe in turquoise, the cubist & engraved cuffs are pretty amazing as well...I would have a hard time choosing what I would spend the $50 on.

Good luck everyone!
