freshly fallen snow

over the last month
we've been your basic overscheduled family

one cheering basketball
one playing basketball
one being the administrator covering basketball

3 different schedules
added into the already busy mix

& since its been too cold to play out side
i've painted the dining room
i've painted the living room
repainted 2 dining chairs
changed out the chair covers
changed up the light fixtures
& replaced cabinet knobs
bought new pillows
new lamps
&
added to mercury glass collection
{will share later, ok?}

between valentines & easter
we will also celebrate
3 of the girls birthdays
my birthday
& our anniversary

savannah turned 17 on valentines day
that weekend
we also got the largest amount of snow Atlanta's seen
in many years
& since this entry is already off
to a " does this all go together anyway?" format
i'll go ahead & throw in the pics

remember those little tags i grabbed off etsy?
well i listed 5 random reasons "why i love you"
for each of the girls
they got tickled reading each other's lists

& since my sweet man
just bought my dream sofas
i felt certain he would appreciate
this vintage valentine

they each had a little valentine package
waiting on them too

savannah & her besties came over for a little
valentinesdaybirthdaycelebrationsnowday photo shoot

& a some snowball throwing with little bit

most years we get very little, if any, snow
& it often seems to be grey and overcast
but that next morning was absolutely glorious
so after a crazy couple of months
the sweet peaceful silence
after the freshly fallen snow
was like a balm to my hurried soul

How sweet! I love your table for Valentine's day too. We got really into Valentine's day around here, and I let my kiddos eat their dessert FIRST! They looked at me with these huge eyes that said, "Really Mama? Are you sure?" It was so fun.

I just finished my Breaking Free (Beth Moore Bible Study) lesson today and it was about glorifying God. I just wanted to say that every time I read your blog, I gain a Godly parenting tip or a beautiful home decor idea along with a feeling that God is all over your blog. I'm so thankful God led me to your blog:) Thank you SO much.

Even in the midst of all that "overscheduledness" you still found the time to make each one of your family members feel special and thats what makes you SPECIAL! Emily is beautiful just like her momma and sisters!
PS I am so over snow as it is currently falling from the sky yet again!

Hey Paige, as long as you're in the mood to paint and redecorate I happen to have a family room and formal living room that need a lot of help.
Is it just me, or is it snowing in places that normally don't get snow this year? The weather has been really funky this year.

Paige, your table looked beautiful. I love those lollipops! I will have to remember that idea for next year. And I love vintage Valentine's how perfect! You are so creative. Thanks for sharing your pics. The girls look like they had a blast. (I could send you some more snow if you want, we definitely have enough up North.) Hugs!

I just came over from humblepie and love your blog. Your home is beautiful and so is your family. You must live on the sunny side of the street because it looks like the sun is shining in most of your photos.

Ahem, you say you've painted your rooms and chairs, etc. However, if you showed us Pictures we would be sure. Foot tapping slowly.

I cannot believe that you are getting snow! We have had the mildest winter in memory and over the past week we have had over a foot of snow, the kids love it but I am ready for spring and warm weather. It has been cold but not much snow for Mich. I have major cabin fever! Your party looked so sweet! Glad you were able to get out and take some pictures in the snow!
