Have yourself a merry little Christmas

thought i'd share just a few little peeks into the corners of our home

thought I'd share some peeks at the girls trees.
they each decorate their own tree with their favorite ornaments. ~

Savannah's french themed retro tree

Caroline's ~

a little stocking that hangs on her door

Emily's fun tree

Madison Grace's tree~

a 'few' of her nutcrackers

I started collecting Dept 56 Snow Village years ago. I have some wonderful pieces but this year just decided not to pull them all out-such a project that is!
However, Madison & Emily both made little snow village creations & i love these~

Being a huge monogram lover, i was so thrilled to receive a couple of great monograms from Electra.
I found the red bucket on clearance, added my monogram , & now i have a cute Christmas card container.
Each year our family loves receiving cards, especially those with photos. This year I'm hoping to make a photo board to put by our back door where we will place all our friends photos. This will serve as a reminder for us to pray for each family.
As much as i love photo cards, one of my dearest friends made a copy of one of her oil paintings into her cards....so lovely!!

Luke 2. 8-14
And there were shepherds living out in the fields nearby,
keeping watch over their flocks at night.
An angel of the Lord appeared to them, and the glory of the Lord shone around them, and they were terrified.
But the angel said to them,
"Do not be afraid. I bring you good news of great joy that will be for all the people.
Today in the town of David a Savior has been born to you;
he is Christ the Lord.
This will be a sign to you:
You will find a baby wrapped in cloths and lying in a manger."
Suddenly a great company of the heavenly host appeared with the angel,
praising God and saying,
"Glory to God in the highest,
and on earth peace to men on whom his favor rests."
~Wishing you a very Merry Christmas~

Beautiful decorations! Your home is brimming with Christmas cheer.

I had to stop by and thank you for posting the beautiful wrapped presents, especially the one with the white bird. My Grandmother passed away this year and she loved cardinals. I saw a glittered red bird at Michael's and your beautifully wrapped present came to mind. I quickly snatched the red bird up and away we went. I knew it would be perfect sitting on top of my mother's gift as a little tribute to her mother. She loved it and I have you to thank for that. Thank you for all your beautiful ideas and inspirations.
