now that the girls are out of school,
one of the things i love
is caroline riding her bike with me while i get my morning run in.
she needed a new set of wheels
so dan hooked her up with a new bike
& explained how to change all her speeds.
& explained how to change all her speeds.
this is her whizzing by
while i yell out things like
"you're going too fast"
"be careful"
"stay to the right"
"you look so cute"....
such a worry wart.
i would have made a terrible boy mom.
She looks so cute on her new ride!!! We are getting Paige the same thing for her birthday. LOVE riding bikes :) Caroline is a doll!
ReplyDeleteWhat a pretty bike! Caroline looks like she enjoyed the riding more than the instructional segment. (Just like my daughter!)
ReplyDeletethat girl makes me smile!

I always love seeing Caroline's cute smile...she looks like such a happy girl!
ReplyDeleteLove the bike too...I'd love to have an old fashioned looking one for riding around in the neighborhood (when it cools off some!)

Dear Paige,
ReplyDeleteLove the color of her helmet and bike!
I used to have a mini Peugeot mountain bike that was that color.
She is getting so tall or appears that way in the picture.
Best,
CBO
That Caroline is too cute for words. She is just as sweet in person as she is in pictures. The girls would love another playdate, they loved spending time with your girls. I love her new bike, it's super cute!
ReplyDeleteLoved Dan's
ReplyDeleteexpression in
that first pic...
And you are wrong;
you'd have done
the BOY thing just
right!
xx Suzanne
God sure knew what He was doing when he gave me girls. I've often said that if I had had boys, they would be the biggest pansies. I am always barking out the same stuff.
ReplyDeleteI love your blog and read it very often, I know you are overprotective and I am also that way. I never let my daughter wear flip flops while riding her bike, I know they are adorable, but such a safety issue, if she needed to jump off and was going to fast she could really hurt her toesies.
ReplyDeleteShe is such a doll!
ReplyDeleteshe looks so excited!!! love the color.
ReplyDeleteshe does look sweet and excited...love the new ride and hope she has many a fun ride on it!

So cute!! I had Maddy ride her bike when I ran a couple times and yelled the same things -- especially -- slow down! Love that new ride of hers!

"terrible boy mom" lol that's me, but i keep trying!! ; )
ReplyDeletestill a worry wart though.
xoxo
Fun new bike!!! Love the pink helmet too :-)
ReplyDeleteShe is so adorable. I love the first picture because you can see the instruction in Dan's eyes!
ReplyDeleteShe's so cute, love the new wheels! I'm not a good boy mom for that very reason, ha! :)
ReplyDeleteThinking of you as your baby girl heads off to college ~
by the way - i crack up everytime i look at the first photo. they are all so sweet and precious. but the way he is so intense and serious instructing her - that was so my dad. there were so many "lessons" and that was the face i got. and i half listened every time and then fell off the bike and then got in trouble and then got another 30 mt lesson on the dumb gears.
