I think 6x6 pages are probably my favorite size to scrap.
The photo seems to easily stay the focus.
I don't need to find loads of things to fill my space.
& they are super quick to put together.
Back in the late spring, my fave scrap store here in Atlanta (shared about here) asked if I would be their spotlight artist for a few months. I was asked to bring several 12x12's and a project or two to share. I had this Heidi Swapp 6x6 album in a box filled with my photos & papers for over a year just waiting on me to complete. Nothing like a deadline to get your creative juices flowing!
I absolutely adore every layout!!! The colors are lovely...and well, those subjects are sublime!! Beautiful! How you must enjoy looking at all these memories you have captured so wonderfully!!!
ReplyDeleteStopping by always lifts my spirits just a bit!!!
Smiling....

I love the materials...the colors...the designs, the sparkles, the little pink barbie ponytail pic! Your pictures are always stunning! The colors always seem to be so vibrant!

I love you 6x6'S! I do 8x8's, but this would be great for Li Li to take to the hospital and for her little hands. Thanks for sharing that :D
ReplyDeleteI was just in that little shop and I know why it is your favorite :D Such a cool place to go! That is awesome that they are spotlighting you - I can see why :D

Just beautiful work, Paige! LOVE IT! I enjoy that little section of the Highlands too from your last post. Husband and I ate at Neighbors Pub across the street last time because the Belly store was closed when we went. Have you ever been to the Irwin Street Market a few blocks over from there? A great little art/market place with yummy cupcakes also!
ReplyDeleteWhat beautiful scrapbooks Paige! You are capturing some awesome memories for your girls! Now I must get busy!

I love this book! The layouts are beautiful - I love the 'Wild Asparagus' frames. I've done mini's and 12x12 (and 8 1/2 x 11 in the olden days) but I've never done a 6x6. Thanks for the inspiration! Now if I could just take pictures as nice as yours!
ReplyDeleteYou are amazing ~ so talented.
ReplyDeleteOh how I wish I could send you all my favorite photos of Bella and Vito and have you create a book just like that for us!!!

I thoroughly enjoy reading your blog and really admire your beautiful photography. Your album is precious! I noticed that you had embellishments on the outside of the page protectors; I've never thought to do that. What do you use to adhere them?
ReplyDeleteEvery pages is prettier than the last. What a fun mini album. Beautiful project.
ReplyDeleteOh. My. Word. I just love that little book. I want to make one! Was it a whole kit? Just an album! The colors you pick out, as always, are perfect. The fact that the pictures are so good make it beautiful too. It really is well done. I haven't been the scrapbook store that you mentioned. But I will have to check it out now for sure. I usually go to the one over here on Mt. Vernon in Dunwoody. I too always love coming to your blog. It makes me smile... inside and out : )
