it's so funny to me,
out of all the tumbling, gymnastics, dancing & cheering all the girls have done
to watch them as they've grown up and see what they end up loving the most.
caroline, being the youngest of four,
might have drawn the short stick because i may have been a little busy with the older girls
carpools and schedules to get her all booked up & squared away with classes at a young age.
but she's made up for lost time.
she's been tumbling only once per week
& yet keeps up with girls several years older.
she danced for about a year when she was three
& then picked up back up again last fall.
the child is always doing one or the other.
all over the house.
as we walk down the street.
in the back yard.
everywhere.
so it came as no surprise to me that each day on the beach
she scoped out some hard sand to tumble in.
while i might not have any formal photo sesssions of her all dressed up
i have my share of these!
( older sisters, who may kill me for posting these, even joined in)
this one she does a toe touch & then a back handspring
("toe back")
her toe touch isn't as bad as this shot makes it look.
as you can see, our weather became a little more bleak
as the week went on...
She needs to be in the Olympics. I am always amazed at what she can do.

And, you know I always ask all of the parenting questions....Lydia is 5, so I've got some time, but I'm wondering how you navigated through the bikini discussion?
Caroline does just fabulous in her dance and tumbling; you can tell it's her passion.
