i hope i've never given you reason to believe we're all angels around here.
with five women in the house
things can get a little snippy around here. sometimes.
we can argue over makeup, either the wearing of too much makeup
or who took someone else's makeup
or someone could use a little makeup
to someone's maybe not old enough for makeup.
to who call's the tv
or are we watching The Grinch
or Polar Express
because someone thinks Polar Express is creepy
to can someone please walk Brinkley
to can you please put away your laundry
& why is your room such a disaster
to mom, why are you in a bad mood
to if you break your iphone, you won't get another
to
can we please eat out
to we always go mexican
to what the heck was that status all about.
you get the picture right?
well, all the stars and planets and everything else aligned
because the snittiness & bickering & grumpiness completely subsided Christmas Eve.
completely. subsided.
seriously.
we enjoyed the service at Passion City Church
after a huge lunch.
caroline & savannah spoke briefly in their perfect british accents
came home & played our traditional game of find the pickle.
we time each girl & the winner usually wins a bag of m&m's or skittles but
this year i forgot to pick up a bag, so cash it was.
congrats madison on your victory!
Christmas day was wonderful
& cloudy and cozy.
a wonderful day to celebrate His birth!

Thank you for your honestly. Brokenness is so normal, so real life. Redemption is all the more beautiful because of the brokenness, and your blog sings of redemption over and over and over.
