  1. I am not really "getting" the first photo. Maybe I cannot see it too well. Is that tree wrapped in burlap? I am thinking it would be a fire hazard, no? That one is not my style but I LOVE the rest of it.

OMG! that magazine has been beside my bed for one week! i look at it EVERY night. you would think i am expecting something to change in it!! it's no wonder i love it though, ballard's is my weekness! my white sofa's are ballards, my lights throughout my house are ballards, burlaps, even down to my bed swing on my screen porch is from ballards!! love it all!!!!

  14. Sweet Paige, Thanks for this post. I had seen her home on Cote de Texas and fell in love with (and pinned) those starburst mirrors on the kitchen windows. I must find some of those for my dining room windows.

    The tree is indeed creative. I read that she based it on an art installation by Cristoff. I have seen one of his art installations in Central Park in New York...thousands of orange flags. It was amazing. Very inspiring. Not sure if I could personally wrap my tree in gauze, but I certainly admire the artistic sense behind it.

    I agree with you...it is an amazing home - wish I could do a drive-by myself. (And as your commenters have made clear...your home is very lovely as well!)
