it is a rare treat to find ranunculus for sale here in Georgia.
or at least, i think it is.
but of course, trader joe's never fails.
these little lovelies didn't last super long
but were glorious while they were here.
i have shared before about my sweet friend melanie.
her paintings are some of my favorite treasures.
oh how i wish i were a talented painter.
i love the smells of oil paints & the turpentine.
i love the feel of the brush against the canvas.
i love the feeling of calm
& of accomplishment
finishing a piece provides.

it's been a few years since i took painting lessons.
my art teacher is no longer teaching adults.
if anyone local knows of a great teacher, especially for beginners
please let me know.
